If you are interested in setting up an HSA, we also can help set those up. Several carriers offer special high deductible policies that are tailored especially for the HSA market. These policies are available for both groups and individuals. Our HSA calculator - which will be on-line as soon as I get around to writing it - will show you that an HSA contribution, added together with the premium for the HSA policy, is almost always less expensive than a traditional health policy. Most HSA administrators now offer a debit card option, which greatly simplifies HSA claims administration. Moving further afield from Group Health Palns, we also have an associate who specializes in Long-Term care plans. Available in California as both Partnership LTC policies and non-Partnership plans, these policies can save families from financial disaster. Neither Medicare nor traditional medical insurance policies cover the costs of long-term custodial care. With costs often in-excess of $175 per day, long-term illnesses can quickly tax most peoples financial resources. Long Term Care policies are specifically designed to address this need.
